Dear friends,

If I’m honest, I’m pretty excited about what’s coming up next week…

Join Dan snd Stephanie Burke and Fr. John Burns, a priest of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and popular writer and speaker, as they discuss how to stay close to the mysteries of Advent by spending this upcoming season well below the surface of society’s rush, noise, and commercialism.

We can drink from the depths of the Church’s rich graces, extended to us in the liturgy, and spend Christmas renewed rather than depleted.  (Yes, please!)

Fr. Burns will share about his guided journal, Adore, and talk about the ways these next few weeks invite us to discover the ways that the Lord draws near to us in stillness and the sanctified space of waiting.

Isn’t that, after all, the definition of the present moment?  To be fully present to what God is doing here and now and not miss what is offered us only once a year: the holy expectation of Advent, the sacred experience of holding our breath for the greatest gift ever given.

Come, join Dan, Stephanie, and Fr. Burns for this live, online event on Tuesday, November 23 at 7 PM Central. All those who register will receive the recording—just in case you can’t make it in real-time.

We invite you to join the guest list at this link: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/avilafoundation/494757

and watch a special preview video about Fr. Burns’ Advent study:

I’ll see you there!

Yours in Christ,
