Beheading Hydra boldly and creatively reveals the constantly shifting but infectious lies of our modern times. These lies resemble a many-headed monster in the deceitfully alluring shape of sixteen ‘isms’ from the world, the flesh, and the devil such as materialism, atheism, progressivism, relativism, sentimentalism, eroticism, and more. These lies are at the root of the evil around us, causing us to lose our peace.
But of course, there’s hope. Fr. Longenecker will also give us the antidote for each of the poisonous lies: tithing, prayer, tradition, truth, education, marriage—my friends, we know this: the Church already has all of the answers to the world’s desperate searching.
