I don’t know about you but music and art speaks to me in ways that no stack of theology books can touch (even though I regularly and easily get lost in the sublimity of the writings of the saints). Reaching an even deeper level are those artists and lyrics that are true in art and theology. In these works of art we can completely rest and be led into the heart of God through the marriage of truth and beauty. Audrey Assad, a marvelous Catholic singer, often leads my heart to the heart of God.
