Let Your Legacy Bloom for Eternity

Plant a flower in the Sts. Louis and Zèlie Legacy Garden of Life

Include the Avila Foundation or Apostoli Viae in Your Will

Saints Louis and Zélie Martin gave themselves completely to God in their vocation of raising a family. In doing so, they cultivated the family of God. They had nine children, of which 5 survived childhood. All five became nuns, four of them Carmelite sisters, fulfilling the mission of praying and giving life to the Church. And among them was the great little flower, St. Thérèse of Lisieux.

This holy family has impacted the entire mystical body of Christ for all eternity. The Martin family uniquely represents the Lord’s abundance and generosity. Saints Louis and Zélie Martin’s mission of giving all for God lives on in their children, and came to fruition in a very special way through St. Thérèse of Lisieux. St. Thérèse, who loves flowers, sees heaven as Jesus’s garden of souls.
