Pray the Rosary with Us

It’s become a tradition and one of our best-attended and most-loved events: The Rosary Crusade is back, and I want to personally invite you to join us in praying to Our Blessed Mother for your intentions, for Our Church, and for vocations.

In Rosarium Virginis Mariae, Pope John Paul II wrote, “Simple yet profound, (the Rosary) still remains, at the dawn of this third millennium, a prayer of great significance, destined to bring forth a harvest of holiness.”

A harvest of holiness.

How about that for a promise?

Our Church is undergoing both a purification and a renewal – two things bound to ripen into a harvest like we’ve never known. But we must pray that what God has begun comes to completion and fruition. We are praying for—praying toward—a harvest.

Will you join all of us at Avila and thousands of others worldwide to pray the Rosary together at 6:30 PM CST on October 1, the beginning of the Month of the Rosary?

Stephanie and I will be hosting, along with The Most Reverend Bishop John Barres of Rockville Center, New York who will be offering reflections. Leading the mysteries will be representatives of different states of life, including the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles.
