Does Fr. Richard Rohr Teach Heresy? – The Universal Christ

by Dan Burke

In the video below, Catholic apologist Trent Horn reveals and refutes the theological errors riddled throughout Fr. Richard Rohr’s book, The Universal Christ.  He points out that Rohr’s attempts to divide the person of Jesus Christ is simply a new version of the old heresy of gnosticism.  Moreover, Rohr claims that God became incarnate for the first time at creation–which downplays the Incarnation and slides into a form of pantheism.

Unfortunately, Rohr has been confusing Catholics for a long time. For more clarification about his writings, see my former posts Can I Trust Fr. Richard Rohr Part I  and Part II.
