I have benefited profoundly from SpiritualDirection.com over the past 4 years and read faithfully what is presented. I look upon this website as a gift from God for me. I feel very confident reading all the posts from all the authors as they proclaim the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that all that is presented conforms to the teachings of Jesus and the magisterium of the Catholic Church. This is a great comfort to me as I do not want to go backward but forward in my spiritual life and I trust that God has provided SpiritualDirection.com for strengthening the virtues of faith, hope and love in myself and all the subscribers. Thank you so much for the free Into the Deep and Spiritual Warfare and Discernment of Spirits . They have helped me immensely. I am keeping to my promises of rising at 5am in the morning to pray and spending 1 hour in Evening Prayer. I am still able to attend Mass daily except for Saturdays. And I seem to need to go to Confession once a week. I am doing the Discernment of Spirits of Fr Timothy Gallagher. I find all this very beneficial. I have been struggling with clinical depression for years and now am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel as I navigate my way in the spiritual life especially with regard to desolation. I wanted to give you some positive feedback on our progress so far with the Spiritual Warfare and Discernment of Spirits series. Deacon Scott and I lead our prayer group here at the parish and felt the Lord calling is to arm as many people as possible with knowledge of spiritual warfare and the tactics of the evil one. The response has been really great! We will have lesson 5 this evening and our group of 75-80 people has been consistently showing up and all the feed back I have received has been very positive.
