Has there been an Marian apparition in America? Have you been looking for a Pilgrimage you can take in America?
Join Dan and Stephanie Burke as they speak with Fr. Tony Stephens about the only approved Marian apparition in the United States, the remarkable Belgian immigrant Adele Brice who witnessed it, and why visiting the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion can transform your spiritual life and family!
Discover the power of pilgrimage as Fr. Tony, rector of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion, shares how *pilgrimage reminds us of our eternal goal* and offers graces impossible to receive any other way. Learn why every Catholic family should make pilgrimage a yearly practice, whether to Rome, the Holy Land, or powerful sites right here in the United States like Champion, Wisconsin.
In 1859, Our Lady appeared three times to Adele Brice, a Belgian immigrant, identifying herself as the Queen of Heaven and instructing her to teach children what they need for salvation. Adele immediately obeyed, teaching for over 30 years and living such a holy life that Bishop Ricken declared her *Servant of God in January 2025,* opening her cause for canonization on what would have been her 165th birthday.
Hear the miraculous story of the Great Fire of 1871 when flames consumed 1.2 million acres and killed 2,000 people. Adele and local Catholics gathered at the shrine, *praying the rosary all night in a circle,* and in the morning it rained, putting out the fires that had burned right up to the edge of their property. This powerful testimony reveals what happens when we stand in faith rather than cower in fear.
Fr. Tony invites families to the October Triduum celebration, October 7th through 9th, featuring the Solemnity of Our Lady of Champion on October 9th with Bishop David Ricken. Experience the Eucharistic rosary procession with over 2,000 pilgrims walking the same path Adele walked during the fire, following Our Lord in the monstrance and Our Lady's statue. Dan shares his profound experience at the shrine, describing how he walked through an invisible wall into holier space, and encourages families to *learn from the saints, emulate their faith, and receive healing and deliverance* through pilgrimage.
Whether you visit Champion or start small by making a pilgrimage to your baptismal church or local cathedral, discover how this ancient Catholic practice opens your family to God's grace in extraordinary ways.
