What Is Discernment of Spirits?
Are all my thoughts really mine? How do I know if a thought is from God or the devil? Can demons put thoughts in your head?
The New Testament warns us that not every spirit is from God, that demons will try to deceive us and thatwe need to test EVERY spirit (Matthew 24:4–5, 24, 1 John 4:1, 1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Corinthians 11:14–15, Ephesians 6:11–12, 2 Peter 2:1–2).
Not every thought is yours and you shouldn't listen to them. Learn the three steps of discernment: awareness, understanding, and action.
