Vote for Us! – Best Catholic Blog Update

February 23, 2012 by

Dear Friends – My last post about this had a significant error. First we were nominated among thousands of sites. Then we were selected as one of the top five finalists in our category! Rather than just being nominated, we have made the final cut in Best Catholic Blog category on About.com’s 2012 Catholic Reader’s Choice Awards. We would be grateful if you would CAST YOUR DAILY VOTE FOR US! As you vote, please also share this post on Facebook, you will help us spread the word! Thank you for your help!

One of our volunteers also noted that the goal is to get as many people as possible to vote daily until the awards are complete! According to the rules, each person can vote once per day.

I went to vote for Catholic Spiritual Direction but am required to allow About.com’s app to access my Facebook account.  I do not allow non-Facebook apps to access my personal account.  Sorry.

Just to vote you don’t need to allow for the Facebook element. I believe there is a check box you can uncheck. Thanks for the attempt!

There are three ways to vote – through Facebook, by creating an About.com account, or just by entering your email address. This ensures that the same person is not voting mutliple times a day. I used my Facebook account one day and today I just entered my email address. They do not use the email address for marketing purposes unless you check the box that they could. Hope that helps!

  • Mary

I was able to vote by just entering my email address.

Thanks.  I’ve voted.  You don’t have to allow anyone to access.  Just vote with your email address!  I did it that way and was not asked for any access whatsoever.
